She also has extensive experience in landlord/tenant matters, including regulated and unregulated dwellings, summary and ejectment proceedings, and litigation of complex landlord/tenant issues.

Ms. Groberg belongs to the New York State Bar Associations' Real Property Law, Trust and Estate Law and General Practice Sections. This involvement assures that Ms. Groberg provides completely up-to-date guidance based on her involvement with issues and precedents regarding these areas and their impact on New York State citizens.

A TIRELESS MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY:

Ms. Groberg beieves in the value of public service to bring about positive change. Her community activities include her long term membership in the Brooklyn Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project, the New York State and Brooklyn Bar Women's Association. She has also given her time to serve as an arbitrator in the Kings County small claims court and was an arbitrator of matrimonial fee disputes for the Chief Administrative Law Judge of Kings County.

In recognition of her work for the indigent population of King County, Ms. Groberg received the Freda A. Niznewitz Award for Service to the Brooklyn Community given by the Brooklyn Bar Association for the year 2000.

Ms. Groberg was admitted to the New York Bar in 1986 immediately after receiving her law degree from Hofstra University School of Law. She has a B.A. in History from Georgetown University. In addition to the New York State Bar, she is admitted to the Federal District Courts for the Southern and Eastern District of New York.
